If you’ve got money to legally purchase a firearm - do it while you can which leads to the next point. 4.) Gun control - they can’t outright take our guns away. But you can find other brand names that compare just as well if not better if you do your own UNBIASED RESEARCH. If you practice at the range frequently, use the same grain you carry when your life depends on it. Bigger caliber isn’t always better. With more advancements in 9mm (it being the most popular cartridge it makes sense) there is a reason a LOT of military / government agencies are going back to it, Enough stopping power, with much easier follow-up shots more importantly. Europe has always been the Beta test for laws/strategies implemented in the future U.S. Look at Germany. It’s a fucking mess. At least the EU in many respects took a stand and demanded labeling of GMO’s etc, yet thanks to Montesanto and their lobbyists we still don’t. 8.) Get your INFORMATION from THIRD parties. Do NOT rely on the mainstream media to tell you what time of day it is or if the sky is falling. We’ve NEVER been so close to nuclear war EVER. This makes the Cold War look like a training exercise. And guess what, we’re in the wrong this time. 9.) 911 lead the way to the Patriot act, which gave NSA (and other branches) a lot of the power they have today. Just because we want/need more security does NOT mean we need to give up our freedoms. Most people sure as shit don’t feel safer now than prior to 911. How does it feel knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt every single text, email photo, IM, DM, video - you name it - encrypted or not these days - ALL of it is being stored in a cloud. They could pull you in for shit you said in jest to a friend 10 years ago with some of these draconian laws if they don’t like what you’re saying. We’re at a critical point in time and history. Either we’re going to keep letting them lead us into a pit, or we do something about it. Do I have the answers? Not for a lot of it. But there are people much smarter than I out there - and that is where our power lies. Sheer numbers frightens such a small group of consolidated power. But the band loved the idea and claimed that having only women perform the songs “would be a good tribute to Kurt and what Nirvana was about.”
Although most people didn’t realize it at the time, Nirvana had deep connections with the Riot Grrrl scene. Kurt constantly played around with gender roles in public—his wearing a dress in the “In Bloom” video is probably the most famous example. Kurt’s lyrics were even more intense and direct than Vedder’s when it came to feminist issues. He even attacked Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose in the press for his sexist and homophobic lyrics.
